"Jim is a lawyer with an inclination to hack. He has been a member of the bar in Paris, California, Massachusetts, New York and Oregon, a partner in a major firm and solo attorney. In 1999, under the influence of open source, he had a hunch that legal documents should be shared via wikis. He has pursued that idea ever since."
