Dr Shann Turnbull is a prolific author on reforming the theories and practices of capitalism. In 1991 he advised on reforms in Czechoslovakia and the People's Republic of China. A Harvard MBA based in Australia, Shann was a partner in a private equity group that purchased control and re-organised a dozen stock exchange traded firms. In this role and as a serial entrepreneur he became chair and/or CEO of listed firms, three of which he founded. His PhD established the science of governance by using bytes to ground social science in the natural sciences. In 1975 he wrote Democratising The Wealth Of Nations and became co-author of the first course in the world to provide an educational qualification for company directors. In 2002 he authored A New Way To Govern: Organisations And society After Enron and in 2011 became a co-founding member of the UK based Sustainable Money Working Group.
