Millie Rooney

Bio

I am a Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania, Australia. I have recently completed a PhD looking at the social norms of sharing in Australian suburban life.

While I am keen to turn my PhD into a book, I am currently working on energy efficiency and thermal comfort in low income households (and hopefully making people a lot warmer in the process!)

I am passionate about the sustainability of our cities and involved both academically and practically in sharing networks. I am the volunteer coordinator at the local food cooperative and involved in other local sustainability networks.
