Layne Hartsell is a research fellow in the philosophy of ethics and technology at the P2P Foundation, and at The Asia Institute in Convergence and 3E (energy, economy, and environment). He has held teaching/research positions at Mahidol University Siriraj Medical Center, Bangkok; Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea; and the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.
