With a great deal of interests, I have been involved in all kinds of activities which have enabled me to integrate a scientific perspective with a profound social interest. Under the understanding that in an unequal world we have developed great advances that could potentially eliminate many of today’s social problems, I am constantly seeking experiences and studies that would train me in my struggle to close the gaps that prevent the masses to take advantage of the future which is already here, but that is poorly distributed.

One of the top students at the Medical School, I was invited to be part of several projects, these included communitary work, epidemiology reseach and a big opportunity to visit first-world hospitals. While developing these activities, I funded the Ecuadorian Chapter for The Zeitgeist Movement, a Sustainability Advocacy Organization which conducts community based activism and awareness actions. As National Coordinator, I lectured in multiple universities and cultural centers about Economy, Sustainability and Science applied to social management, conducted several Interviews with renowned mind shifters (ej, Jason Silva, Federico Pistono) and spread these ideas in national TV and radio.

Currently I focus on democratizing the means of production using the principles of open source and open science through the creation of policies, local broadcast and intervention in cultural and educational centers through "Apertura Radical" (Radical Openness)
