"The Citizens Media® (CM) is a platform and collaborative environment to create new systems that enable real change to occur, by integrating complex technologies into an integrated, mobile-enabled interface. By coupling The Citizens Media's® platform with a peer-to-peer development group we are able to deliver the technology driven by the needs of people on the ground within the communities we serve in Africa and in other developing and developed communities around the world.

The first priority for Citizens Media® is to give voice to rural poor from both within and across communities nationally and further afield. In so doing, we will enable them to communicate, share experiences and gain expertise that results in the creation of value and the development of best practices centered around small-scale (primarily agricultural) enterprises.

CM will not only support the sharing of experiences, but provide a direct means to create value and revenue flow as achieved through the transfer of skills, experience-based expertise, the sharing of data and by making products available through mobile-enabled exchange. Connecting connected and unconnected worlds, CM is essentially about creating systems that facilitate and inspire collaboration for giving people the tools they need to help themselves.
