Talk:Capitalism 3.0
Hey! Why are there no reading groups (at least) attracted to this very practical exposee of what needs to change? Janosabel 22:14, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
Not sure what you mean? and how would you implement this? --MIchel Bauwens 16:48, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe I used the wrong term. I mean that people who found the book worth a read may want to talk about it together (if not, why not?). More importantly, we may start thinking about how to do something about the authors message. I believe it is mostly the readers' task to ensure that the resources collected by writers are deployed (turned into action) to change things that need to be changed. ("Knowledge is [not] power" unless it is put into practice).
- Readers meet (if they are near enough to one another) or talk in a discussion space, like here, about the contents that grab their interest. Janosabel 14:02, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
The talk page could be used for discussing a book, and the discussion could be announced via facebook and twitter to draw more participants. Alternative, we could use the Ning forum structure, either freeform or by organizing a 'book of the week' discussion on different books each week ... ?
