Bio

"Sombath Somphone is Founder and Executive director of the non-profit Participatory Development Training Centre (PADETC), the organization which emphasizes eco-friendly technologies and micro-enterprises to enhance education. In 2005 Sombath received the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Community Leadership in recognition of his hopeful efforts to promote sustainable development in Laos by training and motivating its young people to become a generation of leaders."
