I am a systems hugger ;-). Innovating deep and wide in the engagement of human systems, I have developed numerous projects as a participatory artist, mentor, researcher, and entrepreneur.
current projects
Since 2006, I have been focused on building Dreamfish, a peer-to-peer global work cooperative. Dreamfish connects people to human work to empower dreams and alleviate poverty. The Dreamfish model = open technology, peer economy, service learning community.
Right now, we are putting a call out for the next Dreamfish Fellows cohort, which enables experienced mid-career folks from different countries, fields and open source projects to participate in 6 month collaborative learning teams. Working and learning together, Fellows apply their senior experience and OS knowledge to social impact projects. In the 6 months, Fellows make a social impact as they build, mentor, teach and learn from each other different Open Source practices, teach and learn about Agile product management, and person-centered UI design for the world's underserved.
