Jeff Elkner is a teacher, political activist, and free software evangelist living in Arlington, Virginia, USA, and working for Arlington Public Schools. A pioneer in open educational resource (OER) community, he adapted Allen Downey's GPL licensed book, How to Think Like a Computer Scientist, converting it from Java to Python.
