"In 2011, (Jessie) Henshaw published a critique of the Life Cycle Analysis of a large a wind farm. The difference between the energy throughputs recorded in the official study, he found, and all the other energy uses needed to run the business, turned out to be a factor of about five. In other words, eighty percent of the energy used to run the wind farm was not counted by its circular economy LCA."
