A Malaysian shadow banker looking to reinvent the Chinese model of peer 2 peer financing and cohorting known as "kongsi".

Economist and finance student with 12 years of experience in providing Kongsi capital to the underserved brick and mortar SME businesses My first job at citibank was an eye opener that made me realize how fake the system is. So i chose to go into Chinese shadow banking which made me feel alot more grounded.

I hope to gain insight from this community on how to build a peer 2 peer platform that is profitable and self sustaining on a bootstrapped model.

I do not see how the start-up scene is sustainable with venture funding and mezzanine over-gearing.

My hope is to enable my "kongsi" disenfranchised by the government and the malaysian elites because it is outside the system the opportunity to have financial and informational inclusiveness.
