Description

Jean-Daniel Cusin:

" a system to track the performance of autonomous operation units (in an organization/Coop, whatever) so the operators know where they stand at all times, and can self-manage variation autonomously. If a problem persists too long, an agreed upon protocol is enacted, where the unit’s autonomy is set aside until stability is restored through outside intervention. The Cyberfilter provides the feedback mechanism that enables local autonomy and allows it to be trusted, killing the need for hierarchical managers. In that sense, the relationship of the operational unit and the rest of the organization is P2P."
