P2P Foundation:Community Portal
Dear Visitors:
I would like to use this page to call for volunteers who would like to help the Foundation for P2P Alternatives become a better platform on P2P developments and as a place to link up with people sharing similar values about a more participatory future.
Even if you update a page of your choice only once a week, over time, your contribution is substantial. Multiply it with other contributors, and the effect is dramatic.
Wiki Wish List
1. Developing and maintaining language-specific pages, which introduce the topic, and alert readers to resources in their language
2. Developing country-specific pages: what's happening around P2P, participaton, the 'open' paradigm and the commons in your country?
3. Working to make the lay-out of the Wiki much more user-friendly
4. Developing a "News" page alerting visitors to new developments, in a way that is attractive to read
5. Formalising the existing encyclopedia entries, in a way that is compatible with the Wikipedia format
6. See how our own encyclopedia and Wikipedia can enrich each other.
7. Translators: I would really love to have the basic CTheory essay (in English), or Revue du Mauss essay, both good summaries, translated into many different languages
8. Maintain an agenda of P2P-related events worldwide
9. Match every encyclopedia article with a 1) Wikipedia article; 2) associated books; 3) recommended blogs and websites
10. Work on the internal referrals, i.e. matching the encyclopedia articles with the who's who, the podcasts and webcasts, other topics, etc...
