The first priority for Citizens Media® is to give voice to individual farmers and their families within communities, as well as across communities enabling them to communicate, share experiences and gain expertise that results in the creation of value and the development of best practices centred around their small-scale agricultural businesses. "The Citizens Media® is a platform and collaborative environment to create new systems that enable real change to occur, by integrating complex technologies into an integrated, mobile-based interface. By coupling the Citizens Media® platform with a peer-to-peer development group we are able to deliver the technology driven by the needs of people on the ground within the communities we serve in Africa and in other developing and rural communities around the world.
