Summary

"Michel Bauwes has been analyst/reference librarian for the United States Information Agency, knowledge manager/cybrarian for British Petroleum, eBusiness Strategy Manager for Belgacom, as well as serial internet entrepreneur in his home country of Belgium. He now lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where he created the Foundation for Peer to Peer Alternatives in order to promote social change. He is Primavera Research Fellow at the University of Amsterdam and external expert at the Pontifical Adacemy of Social Sciences (2008). With Frank Theys, he co-produced the 3-hour TV documentary Technocalyps, and with Salvino Salvaggio, co-edited the two volume book on anthropology of digital society."
