Bonjour Michel & all
I propose to start an inquiry about the notions of Collective trade mark, Product certification and Certification mark, and their different translations into the main national laws.
That kind of marks, usualy used for agricultural products, may be usefull to defend marks like OpenID OpenMoney, etc. , which are for now conceived as Trade marks, in my opinion in a inappropriate way.
The problem for OpenID is crucial at the moment because its unformal legal galaxy has to shape itself very soon.
I.e a project for the status of the OpenID Fransce association http://wiki.openidfrance.fr/wakka.php?wiki=Statuts2
This inquiry follows Olivier Zablocky's work on the "rule of use" (?) ("Réglement d'usage" in Fr.) of Collective trade marks in the context of the french notion of "Marque collective de certification". Olivier Zablocky's help would be very helpfull to fullfil this inquiry. I hope he will accept to sign in the wiki. Of course the help of everybody here is also welcome.
