The purpose of this experiment is manifold, and is up to the people who make up CommunityWiki. Some of the stated purposes heve been to create an "P2P Lending" or "Open Money". This could democratize banking by creating a system that can be duplicated anywhere by anyone.
The direction of CommunityWikiBank is constantly evolving, yet already community-based rules and structures are beginning to take shape.
The idea for CommunityWikiBank emerged from the CommunityWiki pages titled WhatIsMoney and Alternative Currency
