Bio

Matt has been experimenting with open projects and open organizing modes since 2007, mostly near his home base in New York City. Lately, most of his work has been focused on the Open Government movement, but his core interest is in collaboration generally and how that can be supported by new tools and processes that are made possible by new technologies. -"I'm originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, U.S.A., and I got my B.A. in Philosophy from McGill University. Afterwards, I came to New York looking to continue my studies in Philosophy, and instead found myself swept up by the possibilities of new technologies of cooperation. After a hiatus in the corporate world, I am taking some time to finally complete my M.A. in the Draper Interdisciplinary program at NYU.
