Could we do the same with Spanish as is done with French? That is

  • call the category "Spanish", which would itself have Category:Languages
  • call the page introducing Spanish language material "Spanish Language" – a page, not a category?

However, I see there are lots of Spanish pages ending /es. Does that make a difference?
