He is a winner of the UnltdWorld(UK) Global Impact BRIC( Business, Resources, Insight and Community) award 2009 for social entrepreneurship.

Dr. J. Christopher Daniel is the founding Executive Director of the Goodwill social work centre (NGO), Madurai, India. He is a retired collegiate professor of social work and human resources management at Madurai, India. He obtained a master’s degree in Social work with HRM as a field of specialisation and a Ph. D in social work/HRM from the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India in 1988. He holds a Certificate in International interdisciplinary Course on Children’s rights awarded by the University of Ghent, Belgium in 1996.
