"Natalie Pang is a PhD candidate in Monash University's Faculty of Information Technology. Her research focuses on the knowledge commons in the contemporary media environment using case studies from cultural institutions such as libraries and museums. Her teaching interests include community informatics, information management, usability evaluations, peer to peer technologies and approaches, and digital libraries. A graduate of Melbourne University and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Natalie has worked in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. Other than her previous involvement in research with communities from China, Italy, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, she had also previously served as an Honorary Research Associate of Museum Victoria in Australia and a Visiting Scholar at the School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Natalie is currently a contributing member of the Foundation for Peer to Peer Alternatives, with interests in participatory technologies in Web 2.0, social networks and discourse on open content licenses applicable in the digital environment."
