About the user page: it helps me to know, not any kind of full bio (which you are quite right, can be seen elsewhere)
but a short summary of what your interest is, or what your connection is, with the commons or P2P world.
 
This should really be the point of all bio pages as well: to focus on the points relevant to this wiki,
and not to duplicate any material that is less relevant.
