Internet TV = an open distribution platform, where content can be delivered via this open platform directly to subscribers It is related to User-Generated Content vehicles such as YouTube.

In this context, it is usually distinguished from IP TV, which is seen as a controlled platform for branded content, using IP-streaming technology.

Ken Camp, at [1] proposes the alternative concept of TVoIP
