We are convinced that there is a need for a place where you can easily prototype or "mashup" government services and data. With HackdeOverheid we geeks and officials are holding a space for dialogue around technological innovation, social change, political transparency and public as possible.

About the Project

HackdeOverheid a is Netherlands (Dutch) project organized by James Burke , Lex Battle House , Vincent Lindeboom , Edial Dekker and Stef Greeks. It has a number of community, business, and government links resulting in a wide variety of sources of participants.

We are convinced that there is a need for a place where you can easily prototype or "mashup" government services and data. With HackdeOverheid we geeks and officials are holding a space for dialogue around technological innovation, social change, political transparency and public as possible.

It is precisely this dialogue and personal connections that are in need of good new ideas from each other to gain a better government and to realize!
