Bio

"Allison Fine is a social entrepreneur, writer, and blogger dedicated to helping grassroots organizations and activists successfully implement social change efforts. As a Senior Fellow on the Democracy Team at Demos: A Network for Ideas & Action in New York City, she researches and writes about the future of social change and civic engagement in the digital age. Allison also serves on the board of directors of Just Vision and OneWebDay. Her book Momentum: Igniting Social Change in the Connected Age won the Alliance for Nonprofit Management’s Terry McAdam Book Award and an Axiom Business Book Award. Allison’s articles have also been published in The Boston Globe, the San Jose Mercury News, and the San Francisco Chronicle, and she is a frequent contributor to the Personal Democracy Forum and The Chronicle of Philanthropy."
