Joaquim Cano (Manresa 1985). Graduated at ETSAB (Escola tècnica superior d'arquitectura de Barcelona) in 2009 and Master's degree in landscape architecture from ETSAB / ESAB in 2012. In 2011 studied part of the master at Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) thanks to the Erasmus scholarship.

Interested in fine arts, graphic design and architecture, spent the last years of his career looking for a connecting point between them. Finally he found the answer in the landscape: working with a living material, giving importance to the factor of the time as a transforming element and researching new ways to represent and communicate the landscape until the time unexplored.

Based in Barcelona, works with several architectural and landscape firms mainly with Michele & Miquel architectes et paysagistes. He founded BCNlandscape in 2012 with other landscaping master colleagues with whom he won the competition to build a garden in the Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire (France). He is also a founding member of ESPAIsatge, a group of young landscapers. Whit them he participates in the development of a solar in the Poble Nou neighborhood in Barcelona, a competition organized by the Ajuntament de Barcelona.
