Chithra Selvaraj is Associate Professor in SSN College of Engineering authorized under Anna University, Chennai. She has completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She has ranked as Sixth in the University ranking. She has completed her Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Sathyabama University, Chennai with Distinction. She has completed her Ph.D course in Anna University, Chennai and indulged in research work in the field of Security for Peer-to-Peer Systems. She has overall teaching experience of over 15 years in the colleges affiliated under Anna University. She has carried out her research work in the Network Security domain and has presented and received “Best Paper” award for a research paper in the conference ICCNT 2009. She has published her research work in various International journals of Springer, Elsevier and Wiley publications. She is a member of profession bodies like IEEE, ACM and ISTE. She has attended various programmes organized by these bodies and ACM-W.
