inspired by the wikiindex proposal page
be good to come up with some kind of template for proposals
Goals
- Build community
- Increase participantship
- Support the wiki-way
- Create collaboration
Description
currently newsletter are sent as Word documents. As our community moves away from Microsoft Office technology and to Office 2.0 paradigms - more and more members will no longer take a moment to read an attachment - it takes too long.
This proposal is to hyperlink the table of contents in the email message into the wiki.
Currently, the hyperlinks included are invalid links to Google Mail. This may be seen as unprofessional and thus may lose readership.
Other advantages include bringing people out of the space of email and documents and into the space of the P2P Foundation wiki which is much more dynamic, living, and breathing.
We are out to create an invitation to take their inspiration after having read the newsletter and create action whether it be in the form of starting a new artcile, reading any entry, creating a discussion, contacting the author, the possibilities are endless!
