- Created by Tom Lowenhaupt (TomL@communisphere.com) - from a project to provide NYC's community board members, staffs, and residents witha range of governance communication services
- A wiki derived from the premise that city assigned "community boards" in New York were ineffective due to imistations in budgets and technology.
- The beyond voting wiki provides a means for community members to create a better system that identifies
- the goal is to create an improved governance structure for NYC
- The wiki allows users to give input on issues regarding institutional changesuch as:
o Lower Chamber
o Decentralization
o School Participation
o Youth Participation
o Elections
