| Nikiforos is a Junior Research Fellow at Ragnar Nurkse Department of Innovation and Governance, Tallinn University of Technology. He is pursuing a PhD on "Governance of Smart Cities" and is affiliated with the [http://www.finesttwins.eu/ FinEst Twins] Smart City project. His research interests include circular economy, smart city, commons and sustainability transitions.

| Nikiforos is also a Fellow of the [http://www.p2plab.gr/en/ P2P Lab] research collective. He has been involved in REFLOW, an EU H2020 project seeking resilient solutions towards a circular economy, and the Tzoumakers, an open lab for communities to cooperatively design and manufacture tools for small-scale agricultural production.
