Hello, there! You can call me "J". I have two fundamental passions in my life, which happen to be synergistic: (1) expanding my mind (2) making things that help people. I am a soap-maker and programmer by trade, but my compulsive curiosity has escorted me through such a variety of subjects (with more to come I sure), so the future is ripe with uncertainty (the exciting kind).

I have been exploring "commons" ideas for just over a year now and am becoming ever-more compelled that it is an elegant and truly viable means of bringing about the end of the capitalist epoch. I hope to contribute, in my own ways, to the development and maintenance of the commons, and the transition which brings it.
