Description
You tag your book online, put a sticker on the book, and inform people about the whereabouts of the books, which is available to everyone for reading and further 'crossings'.

Some interesting use scenarios evolved:
- Controlled Release: A book will be sent to a list of users, either returning to the owner (a book-ring), or staying at the last reader (a book-ray) (see "Granted Property").
- Wishlist ("Demand publishing"): Readers publish a list of books they are interested in. It happens, that some stranger will send them a book on this list.
