I am currently a PhD. Research Student in the School of Engineering and Informatics at the University of Sussex. I have many years experience in IT, having been a UNIX System Administrator, an Audio Programmer in Games, a freelance Programmer, and a Web Developer.

I have an MSc in Music Technology, obtained from City University, as well as an MSc in Architecture, Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies, from the Centre for Alternative Technology. My BSc from North London University (now London Metropolitan) was in Computer Science.

My PhD is all about blockchain technologies - my focus is primarily technical, but I'm also interested in its ethical, social, political and economic impact.
