"People's Voice Media describes itself as "a not for profit community development organisation that […] specialise[s] in using social media as a community engagement tool”. Their goal is to “establish a movement of community reporters which will develop local voices and distribute local views”.
It was initiated by a non-governmental organisation/charity and encourages people to participate through an online platform and organising & campaigning. People's Voice Media is local, national and transnational in orientation and concerned with media democratisation and neighbourhood & community.
