"Patrick Bresnihan is an Irish Research Council post-doctoral scholar in Maynooth University, Ireland. He is currently completing a book that analyzes liberal and neoliberal responses to ecological crises through a study of transformations in the Irish and European fisheries. He is interested in examining the relationship between liberal and neoliberal thought, governmentality and capitalist enclosure in the context of worsening ecological crises, as well as the potential of the commons to interrupt such dynamics.
