David is a serial entrepreneur and community organizer originally from Yellowknife, NWT, Canada. He is currently CEO of Guildtree Global, a startup Canadian company developing ICT infrastructure to support modern guilds for knowledge workers, starting with the global guild of translators and interpreters. He was a CEO of Canadian social startup Sceneverse 2011 through 2014 and of wireless ISP Everus Communications prior to that. As a community activist he helped found non-profit All Votes Count Canada in 2017 to put forward a proposed consensus system for electoral reform, and was a one of the organizers in a national coalition opposing Canada's version of the US Patriot Act, Anti-terrorism Act of 2015. He is married to a UN translator with whom he has five children and now lives in Guelph, Canada.
