Description

"FairPensions campaigns for major institutional investors to adopt responsible investment, using shareholder power to hold companies to account. In addition to letting people know about the power of their pension to improve corporate behaviour, it runs single issue campaigns to bring shareholder pressure on companies. For example, in 2010 FairPensions co-ordinated a coalition of institutional and individual investors and successfully filed resolutions on the oil sands in Canada to the AGMs of Royal Dutch Shell plc. and BP."
