Subject: [Commoning] Reversing the Enclosure -- Reopening the Commons
To: Commoning List <commoning at lists.wissensallmende.de>

Dear Crottorfers,

in Crottorf I mentioned that we need some kind of reversal of the historical
(and still ongoing) process of the "enclosure of the commons", if we want to
overcome capitalism: a reopening and recreation of the commons. I've now
written a longer article discussing that idea:

I hope it'll be interesting to some of you -- feedback and comments

Best regards

What is it [...] that separates human beings from the so-called lower
animals? Well, as I see it, it's exactly one half-dozen significant things:
Humor, Imagination, Eroticism--as opposed to the mindless, instinctive
mating of glowworms or raccoons--Spirituality, Rebelliousness, and
Aesthetics, an appreciation of beauty for its own sake.
