Description

"Wild Zones are places where children, teenagers and adults can co‐create a new form of public space that is dedicated to free play in nature."

"David Hawkins was the founding Project Manager of the Edible Schoolyard in Berkeley (CA). The idea for Wild Zones came out of David’s work at the Edible Schoolyard and an exhibition we created at the Eden Project in 2004 called Cultivating Community: How Care of the Earth Can Build Community and Transform Violence."
