Description

"The present system is in crisis and the old alternatives do not seem to be able to convince many people, which means the field is wide open for the human imagination and Nowtopian social experimentation. This new reality is reflected in the rapid and successful emergence of shared and global innovation commons such as those for open content, free software, and shared designs for making and manufacturing, which are also creating new economies and forms of sustainability.

These new social movements, which are largely operating outside of the traditional institutional frameworks, are inventing new ways of being and knowing that could very well save human civilisation, now on a deadly collision course with the natural world. What can we say about the new learning processes and the relationship between inner transformation, cultural shifts, and new institutions that are being built by those pioneers?"
