Hi Simon Grant! Thanks for the welcome, community feel is nice 🙂 hopefully I am following the user-talk conventions by replying here and tagging you, as opposed to on your talk page. I have a question as well - are there guidelines for handling opinionated content on the wiki? For example, I recently edited the IEML pages and I have some personal views on IEML's relevance to the commons movement as a whole, which are based on writings of IEML's creator, but are of course from my perspective and are perhaps biased. I have 3 guesses at what might be good approaches: (1) to write essays on my blog and then link to them from the IEML page (though this loses the benefit of the wiki holding information), or (2) to create a page like "@mhueschen's views on IEML's relevance to the commons movement" (though this seems somewhat self-aggrandizing), or (3) to add quotes from the source material to a page on the wiki, with minimal opinionated commentary (though this loses some flavor). Your thoughts would be appreciated - thanks! --Mhueschen (talk) 05:18, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
