Talk:Manifesto

From P2P Foundation
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Hi Michel -- this is an interesting old set of pages. Any plans for them? At least they could be better named, linked, and categorised? Simon Grant (talk) 06:57, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

this was the original P2P and Human Evolution which was the launch of the P2P Foundation. We wrote an entirely new one this spring in Madison. An upgrade of its look and feel would be great.

Wondering if we could start by renaming the main page "2005 Manifesto" or "Manifesto (2005)" or something like that? Or "Manifesto for P2P and Human Evolution"? Simon Grant (talk) 08:14, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

the new document is Peer-to-Peer. A Manifesto for Commons Transition. Michel Bauwens & Vasilis Kostakis, available at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MC9ocKoHNgwZv2PdvvC3ijmGPkzM9ryIcB6ytp5HEUA/edit#

since we don't use double titles, that is a bit of a problem. To be honest, I would prefer to keep the original title, not using manifesto, for the 2005 edition; and then we can use the undertitle of the new version, for the 2015 version.

what do you think ?

Strikes me as a very good idea, we just need to move P2P and Human Evolution out of the way. See Talk:P2P and Human Evolution?

First steps now done. Remaining (I'll aim to do gently, in time):

  • chase links and change them
  • put together the chapter pages
