"I want to pursue two interrelated structural strategies:

1. Introduce and propagate the new/old “meta-language” of the commons.

The goal is to validate a new discourse of governance that can transcend the limits of current political debate and open up a richer spectrum of possibilities; and

2. Showcase how emerging digital technologies and platforms could expand commons governance practices for natural resources at larger scales, beyond the local (“eco-digital commons”), and mobilize new forms of collective action.

The goal is to demonstrate practical network-based alternatives to the market/state and centrally directed regulation."
