Description

"The collective "Point Communs" manage domain names and websites in connection with the common. Made up mainly of web professionals (network administrator, developers, graphic designer, webmaster, editors ...), it has spontaneously and joyfully formed around the same objective: to work for the development of the common via Digital tools.

Its first project was to put on line portal allowing to explain very simply the notion of common in French: http://lescommuns.org/. This portal was soon accompanied by sites defining the concepts of Assembly of the Commons and Chamber of Commons, as well as an Agenda of the Commons. The collective also animates the Twitter account @LesCommuns.

The second project, which began in 2016, is the Les Communs d'Abord blog, a medium on the commons with a broad purpose aimed at improving the circulation and the constitution of the commonners in motion and « Mr Jourdain of the Commons. » This project was initiated by several motivated people from various backgrounds ((Collectif SavoirsCom1, Fabrique lyonnaise des Communs, Assemblée des Communs de Lille, Collectif Point Communs,...).

The collective also provides technical maintenance for the server, a farm of Wordpress blogs hosted by the LSC-L1, and a number of other sites such as the "Wiki of the commons" or "The fabric of mobilities"."
