Description

Bruce Alderman:

"Mark opens the conversation by describing how his work with neurologically diverse individuals inspired his initial interest in worldviews, and ultimately in metatheory as a means of coordinating, integrating, and maximizing the strengths of diverse perspectives. Over the course of his conversation with Layman and Bruce, he discusses the importance of methodology in metatheory for building a global community of inquiry, the nature and integrative power of the holonic lens, the I-Thou perspective and the missing Vygotskian second-person mediational element in AQAL metatheory, the polarity of health and disease in integral understanding, the challenge posed to commonly used Integral stage models by the Australian Aboriginal culture, and much more.

Mark Edwards has a Ph.D. and M.Psych. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Western Australia."
