Bio

"My main occupation is Molecular and Cognitive Neuroscience. In my spare time I'm developing a Science 3.0 web plug for decentralized journal, which exploits a free and open big-data management tool for biomedical science. Open Science for a better world.

Currently I'm managing the project #ScholRev [1] addressing the main issues in scholarly communication. Scholrev will deliver open tools to change the way we create, disseminate, evaluate and explo-it-rate scholarly contents."

"Eugenio Maria Battaglia is an undergraduate student in molecular biotechnology at the University of Turin with a specialization in integrative neuroscience. Currently he’s developing a Bio Commons Licence in an European framework named Synenergene. He’s developing the first Italian biohacker space, named BioPeers. Eugenio has been active in a series of groups about open science and scholarly communication: he is a member of Force11, a community manager in HackYourPhD, and a board member of the Open Knowledge Foundation – Open Science Italy."
